Machine Design support for current Bruker products and provide design support for development of new Bruker products. Implement and process design change requests from Manufacturing and Field Service groups. Design machined parts and assemblies with and without support from senior level Engineers. Aid in solving issues on the manufacturing floor. Work on collaborative efforts with a multi-discipline team including Electrical Engineering, Software Engineer and Manufacturing.

Responsibilities

  • Design and document new system components
  • Create complex system layouts, assembly drawings, and BOM’s
  • Modify existing designs as needed to correct issues and errors
  • Assist with some document control duties.

Qualifications

  • B.A. or B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Machine design and 3D CAD design experience using AutoDesk Inventor or equivalent.  
  • 10 yrs. experience with developing automated systems that contain high precision mechanisms, optics, and contamination control is not required but is a plus. 
  • Must have good computer skills and be familiar with MS Excel. 

 

At Bruker, base salary is part of our total compensation. The estimated base salary range for this full-time position is between $86,400.00 and $153,000.00 provides an opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base salary for the role will depend on a several job-related factors, including, but not limited to education, training, experience, the geographic location of the successful candidate, skills, competencies, job-related knowledge and travel requirements for this position.
